George Borisov erhielt seine Ausbildung im Konzertfach Klavier und Kammermusikensemble am Staatlichen S. Rachmaninov-Konservatorium in Rostov am Don und am M. Glinka-Konservatorium in Novosibirsk. Schließlich erwarb er noch ein Doktorat am Gesamtrussischen Musikwissenschaftlichen Institut in Moskau. Er ist Ehrenprofessor an der staatlichen Kunstuniversität Krasnodar, wo er Unterricht in Klavier und Ensemble erteilte. Seine Konzerttätigkeit umfasst Klavierabende und Ensemblekonzerte in der Sowjetunion, Österreich, Frankreich, Norwegen und den USA. Dr. Borisov ist Juror in nationalen und internationalen Wettbewerben wie dem Internationalen Klavierwettbewerb Rom (Italien), dem Chopin International Piano Competition (USA) sowie den NJMTA, NJMEA, NGPT und SMEA Klavierwettbewerben und Festivals (USA). George Borisov received his professional training in Piano Performance and Chamber Ensembles from S.Rachmaninov State Conservatory in Rostov City (B.M, M.M.), M.Glinka State Conservatory in Novosibirsk (D.M.A.), and completed his Ph.D. in Musicology in the All-Russia Institute of Musicology in Moscow (Russia). He is Professor Honoris Causa of the Krasnodar State University of Arts (Russia), where he taught piano solo and chamber ensemble courses. His performance experience includes piano solo and collaborative recitals in the Soviet Union, Austria, France, Norway, and the United States. Dr. Borisov is a jury member of International and National piano competitions, including the Rome International Piano Competition (Italy), the Chopin International Piano Competition (CT, USA), the NJMTA, NJMEA, NGPT, and SMEA piano competitions and festivals (USA). He is a founder of the Golden Key International Music Festival and the Alberti Piano Competition.. back

Die Karriere des aus Taiwan stammenden Pianisten Chih-Long Hu startete nach zahlreichen Auszeichnungen, u. a. dem Taipei National Concert Hall Arising Star, dem Chi-Mei Artist Award und Preisen beim Internationalen Mauro Monopoli-Klavierwettbewerb in Italien, dem Concurs International de Piano D'Escaldes-Engordany in Andorra, dem Internationalen Takamatsu-Klavierwettbewerb in Japan und dem San Jose International Piano Competition in Kalifornien. Hu ist in Asien, Europa und Amerika als Solist, Konzertmeister und Kammermusiker aktiv. Seine Auftritte wurden USA-weit im Radio und in Taiwan, China und Japan im Fernsehen ausgestrahlt. Seine CD-Alben "Formosa Caprices", "Complete Rachmaninov Etudes-Tableaux" und "Trifecta Trio" wurden von der Kritik gefeiert. Seine letzte CD von Bachs Goldberg Variations wurde von Blue Griffin Recording veröffentlicht. Von der Tennessee Music Teachers Association zum "Lehrer des Jahres" ernannt, wird Dr. Hu häufig zu Vorträgen und Meisterkursen sowie als Juror internationaler und nationaler Wettbewerbe eingeladen. NAOMI ISHII Japan
Naomi Ishii studierte nach dem Abschluss ihrer pianistischen Hochschulausbildung in Japan von 1981-1984 an der Hochschule Mozarteum in Salzburg bei Hans Leygraf. Danach kehrte sie in ihr Heimatland zurück und wurde dort eine der erfolgreichsten Pädagoginnen in der Ausbildung junger Klaviertalente. Ständig werden ihre Schülerinnen und Schüler mit ersten Preisen beim PTNA-Wettbewerb, dem japanischen Studentenwettbewerb, dem Japanischen Wettbewerb für klassische Musik und anderen Musikwettbewerben ausgezeichnet. Sie selbst erhält in jedem Jahr den „Teachers‘ Award“ (seit 2001 von der PTNA, der japanischen Piano Teachers‘ National Association und seit 2005 vom Japanischen Wettbewerb für Klassische Musik. 2005 und 2011 verlieh ihr die PTNA sogar den „Special Teacher’s Award“! Naomi Ishii ist neben ihrer Konzerttätigkeit Jurorin vieler verschiedener Wettbewerbe und hält Vorträge und Meisterkurse in ganz Japan. Following her Japanese Music University graduate, Naomi Ishii continued her studies at the Music University Mozarteum in Salzburg with Hans Leygraf from 1981 to 84. Then she returned to her home country and became one of the most successful Japanese pedagogues in the education of young piano talents. A great number of her students continuously get first prizes at the PTNA Competition, the Japanese Students Competition, the Japanese Competition for Classical Music and many other contests. Ms. Ishii herself is annually given the „Teachers‘ Award“: since 2001 by PTNA, the Japanese Piano Teachers National Association and since 2005 by the Japanese Competition for Classical Music. In 2005 she even received the PTNA’s „Special Teacher’s Award“! Next to her concertizing, Naomi Ishii adjudicates at many different competitions and holds lectures and master-classes all over Japan. Since 2010 she is director of the all-Japanese Bach Competition. back

IMOLA JOÓ Hungary/Austria
Imola Joó wurde in einer Musikerfamilie in Budapest geboren. Sie studierte am „Béla-Bartók" Konservatorium bei Kornél Zempléni Klavier. Nach der Matura am Musikgymnasium und dem Abschluß mit Auszeichnung am Konservatorium setzte sie ihre Studien in Wien an der Hochschule für Musik in der Konzertfachklasse von Hans Graf fort. Sie erwarb ihr Konzertfachdiplom ebenso wie den Abschluß der Pädagogik mit Auszeichnung. Ihre schriftliche Diplomarbeit hat die „Kodály- Methode“ und ihre Bedeutung für den Pianisten zum Thema. Meisterkurse u.a. bei Paul Badura-Skoda. Seit 1976 leitet Imola Jóo eine Klaviervorbereitungsklasse an unserem Institut. Vorträge, Workshops und Meisterkurse im In- und Ausland (Kanada, Japan, Korea, Ungarn) sind neben der Unterrichtstätigkeit Meilensteine ihres Wirkens. Mehrere ehemalige Studierende sind bereits Lehrende an der Universität und gefragte Solisten. In den letzten Jahren hat Imola Jóo mehrmals mit dem „Symphonie Orchester Dinu Lipatti“ in Satu Mare (Rumänien) konzertiert. Zuletzt erfolgte ein Auftritt im Großen Saal des Wiener Musikvereins mit dem K.u.K. Symphonie Orchester. 2001 entstand eine CD mit Werken von Mozart, Liszt, Bartók, Kodály, Dieter Kaufmann. Eine weitere CD mit J. L. Dusseks Klavierkonzert in Es-Dur, op.15 (Erstaufnahme) ist in Vorbereitung. Durch ihre Habilitation ist Imola Jóo seit September 2004 Universitätsdozentin. zurück
Born into a family of musicians in Budapest, Imola Jóo studied the piano at the “Béla Bartók” Conservatory in Professor Zempléni´s class. Following her graduation from the Budapest Music High School and her graduation from the Conservatory cum laude she continued her studies at the Vienna University of Music in Professor Hans Graf´s Concert Class. She obtained her concert class diploma as well as her diploma in educational theory cum laude, the topic of her thesis being “The Kodály Method and its Meaning for the Pianist”. Furthermore, she completed master classes in Paul Badura-Skoda´s class, among others. Since 1976, Imola Joó has been heading a Piano Preparatory Class at the Vienna University of Music. Parallel to teaching, further milestones of her professional activity include presentations, workshops and master classes in Austria and around the world (Canada, Japan, South Korea, Hungary). Several of her former students are already teaching at the University and renowned soloists themselves. Imola Jóo performed in several concerts with the “Dinu Lipatti Symphonic Orchestra” in Satu Mare, Romania. Recently she played in the Vienna Musikverein with the “K.u.K. Symphonic Orchestra”. She recorded a CD in 2001, including works of Mozart, Liszt, Bartók, Kodály and Dieter Kaufmann, with a further CD with J. L. Dussek´s Piano Concerto in E flat major, op.15 (first recording) currently being in preparation. Ruf als Pianist gründet sich auf seinen Preis beim Internationalen
Beethoven-Klavierwettbewerb Wien 1985. Seitdem führt in eine
rege Konzerttätigkeit durch ganz Europa, die USA, Japan und
China. Neben dem allgemeinen Repertoire sind seine besonderen Schwerpunkte
die Klavierwerke der Wiener Klassik, insbesondere von Ludwig van
Beethoven, sowie Transkriptionen Franz Liszts über Wagner-Opern
und neue Kompositionen für den Bösendorfer-Computerflügel.
Stephan Möller wurde 1955 in Hamburg geboren und absolvierte
seine Ausbildung als Pianist und Dirigent am Mozarteum in Salzburg.
Von 1983-89 war er künstlerischer Mitarbeiter Herbert von Karajans
bei den Salzburger Festspielen. Seit 1990 lehrt Stephan Möller
an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in
Wien. Er wird häufig zu Meisterkursen und Vorträgen im
In- und Ausland eingeladen. 1999 gründete er in Wien die "VIP
Academy", ein erfolgreiches Festival für junge Pianisten.

Stephan Möller
first gained prominence as a prizewinner at the 1985 International
Beethoven Competition in Vienna. Since then his busy concert schedule
has taken him to Japan, China, North and South America as well as
all over Europe. Performing all the standard repertoire, Stephan
Möller has concentrated especially on the interpretation of
the Viennese Classics, in particular Beethoven, as well as on Franz
Liszt's paraphrases of Wagner opera scenes and new compositions
for the computer-assisted Bösendorfer concert grand piano.
Stephan Möller was born in Hamburg and studied piano and conducting
at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. From 1983 to 1989, he worked at the
Salzburg Festival with Herbert von Karajan and other world-renowned
conductors. Since 1990, he holds a teaching position at the University
for Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He is frequently invited to
hold masterclasses and lectures. 1999 he founded the "VIP Academy",
a successful summer festival for young pianists in Vienna. He is
president of the Vienna International Pianists Association. back

Moretti unterzeichnete kürzlich einen Vertrag mit Decca in London, um eine Tschaikowsky gewidmete CD aufzunehmen. Er hat Klavierkonzerte Mozarts (als Solist und Dirigent), zwei CDs für Klavierduo sowie CDs mit Klaviermusik von Liszt und Wagner aufgenommen. Sein nächstes Projekt ist eine Aufnahme von Brahms' Klavierkonzert Nr. 2 zusammen mit dem American National Orchestra. Die Washington Post schrieb über ihn "Ein echter Poet am Klavier ... der magische Klang Morettis machte den Klavierabend zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis."

During his career spanning more than two decades, Maurizio Moretti has played regularly in the most famous European concert halls, as well as in Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai and many others. He performs regularly with famous orchestras and chamber music ensembles throughout Europe.
Moretti recently signed a contract with the prestigious Decca London to record a CD dedicated to Tchaikovsky. He also recorded Mozart’s piano concertos (solo and conductor), two CDs for piano duo as well as CDs with music by Liszt and Wagner for piano. Next year he will achieve a CD with Brahms Piano Concerto n. 2 together American National Orchestra .The Washington Post wrote about him " a real poet of piano...the magical sound of Moretti trasform the recital in a unforgettable experience".

Repertoire ist sie seit vielen Jahren eine herausragende Interpretin

Lied- und Kammermusik. Nach langjähriger Erfahrung in mehreren
Ensembles tritt sie zunehmend mit spannenden Programmen auf, in
denen sie traditionelles Repertoire mit Werken des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts
kombiniert. Ihre Interpretationen sind gekennzeichnet von unbestechlicher
Texttreue und treffsicherem Gespür für die Verschiedenheit

Carol Morgan was born in England. After her studies at the Royal
College of Music in London she lived in Germany for some time, where
she studied, among others, with Alfons Kontarsky. Apart from the
classical-romantic repertoire, she has been for many years among
the leading interpreters for the music by contemporary composers,
both for solo piano as also for song and chamber music. After playing
for a long time in various ensembles she now concentrates on exciting
programmes which combine the traditional repertoire with the music
of the 20th and 21st century. Her interpretations are characterized

KURT SEIBERT Germany
Kurt Seibert, geboren 1944 in Lodz, ist emeritierter Professor für Klavier und Kammermusik an der Hochschule für Künste Bremen. In Hamburg erhielt er auch seine umfassende und intensive Ausbildung als Pianist und Kammermusiker bei Conrad Hansen und dem von Maurice Ravel und Claude Debussy geförderten und mit Ferruccio Busoni befreundeten Komponisten Philipp Jarnach. Seibert studierte auch Musiktheorie bei Wilhelm Maler. Er schloss sein Studium in Hannover als Schüler von Hans Leygraf mit dem Konzertexamen ab, wo er Max Regers Klavierkonzert spielte.
Für seinen Einsatz für das Werk Max Regers wurde Kurt Seibert mit vielen Auszeichnungen geehrt. So erhielt er den bayerischen Nordgaupreis, die Max-Reger-Medaille und, zusammen mit dem von ihm gegründeten Festival „Weidener Max-Reger-Tage“, den von der Bayerischen Akademie der schönen Künste verliehenen Fritz-Baur-Preis. Im Rahmen seiner weltweiten Konzerttätigkeit in Europa, Südamerika und Ostasien spielt er immer auch Werke von Max Reger und erläutert sie in Workshops und Vorträgen.
Kurt Seibert fühlt sich als Pianist und Künstler der großen, deutschen Interpretationstradition verbunden und verpflichtet. Schwerpunkte seiner Konzertprogramme bilden Werke von Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms, Reger und Hindemith. Ein Schwerpunkt seines künstlerischen Profils ist die Arbeit an zahlreichen interdisziplinären künstlerischen Projekten, in denen neben den interpretatorischen sowohl musikwissenschaftliche als auch kulturgeschichtliche Fragen thematisiert werden. Dies hat auch dazu beigetragen, dass zu Kurt Seiberts Repertoire viele Werke gehören, die im Musikbetrieb kaum zu hören sind und die auf diese Weise ans Licht gebracht wurden und so auch den Studenten zugänglich gemacht wurden. zurück
Kurt Seibert, born in Lodz in 1944, is professor emeritus for piano and chamber music at the University of the Arts Bremen. GEORGI NIKOLOV
Georgi Nikolov hat als junger Dirigent beträchtliche öffentliche Aufmerksamkeit und Bewunderung erfahren. Seiner Entscheidung, Karriere als Dirigent zu machen, gingen Studien als Cellist und Auftrittserfahrung als Sänger voraus. Durch die Gelegenheit, regelmäßig mit namhaften Dirigenten und Solisten zusammen-zuarbeiten, vor allem während seines Musikstudiums in Wien, hat er wertvolle Erfahrungen in der Aufführungspraxis, professionelles Mentoring und zusätzliches Interpretationscoaching erhalten, die ihm bei seinen eigenen dirigentischen Aktivitäten sehr inspiriert haben.
2015 gründete Georgi Nikolov das "New VIS Orchestra", dessen musikalischer Leiter er auch ist. Seit seiner Gründung hat das Orchester einen bemerkenswerten Ruf für Umfang und Qualität seiner Konzertprojekte erworben.
Als Sänger tritt Georgi Nikolov regelmäßig als Mitglied des Extra-Chors der Wiener Staatsoper und des Arnold Schoenberg Chores in Konzert- und Opernproduktionen auf. Darüber hinaus ist er häufig als Gastsolist im Oratorienrepertoire zu hören. zurück
Georgi Nikolov has drawn considerable public attention and admiration as a young conductor. His decision to pursue conducting as a career was preceded by studies as a cellist and also performance experience as a singer. Through the opportunity to regularly collaborate with a number of eminent conductors and soloists, particularly during his own music studies in Vienna, he has gained invaluable performance experience, professional mentoring and additional interpretative coaching, which have greatly inspired him with his own conducting endeavours.
In 2015, Georgi Nikolov founded the “New VIS Orchestra”, of which he is also the principal conductor. Since it was established, the Orchestra has gained an enviable reputation for the scale, scope and quality of its performance projects.
As a singer, Georgi Nikolov performs regularly as a member of the Extra Chorus of the Vienna State Opera and the Arnold Schoenberg Choir in both concert and opera productions. Additionally, he is a frequent guest soloist in oratorio repertoire.
